Dian Fossey Poster
Artist Lindsay Dean of NH offers this celebratory poster at her Zazzle store FunkyManatee. Today heroic American Primatologist Dian Fossey would have been 82. Her murderers remain uncaptured. Her life was depicted in the film "Gorillas in the Mist" which was based on both her book by that name and an article by Harold Hayes in a 1987 edition of Life magazine. Google made a doodle to commemorate her birthday. Her life and legacy are summarized in a short article by The Guardian HERE. One of many memorable quotes from Dr. Fossey is “The man who kills the animals today is the man who kills the people who get in his way tomorrow.”
