I am sad that Canada has lost dynamic Opposition Leader Jack Layton. At newsy.com, multiple sources are quoted such as The National Post: "Quebecers love an underdog, and the cane he used during the last campaign only enhanced the image of Mr. Layton as a scrappy battler” and The Globe and Mail's publication of a final letter from Layton to his followers, friends, and colleagues wherein he wrote two days before he passed away, “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”
