Albert Schweitzer's Birthday---"Stray Muses" Poster of Shelter Cat from Zazzle

www.nobelprize.org
The Nobel Peace Prize in 1952 was awarded to Albert Schweitzer (January 14, 1875-September 4, 1965). His birthday January 14 is celebrated by many people who love peace and kinship with all life.  Doreen Erhardt offers several posters with Albert Schweitzer quotations. Doreen is a highly professional photographic artist and author residing in the Sierra Foothills of California. My cat Pearl was caged like this for 2-1/2 months in 2005 at a shelter after her owners turned her in, except she faced the back in her misery.
Doreen has many sites and venues as well as her PAWSitivelyPETS Store at Zazzle and others at Zazzle. As she writes in her description of this poster featuring a handsome Russian Blue prisoner, this would be a "Wonderful poster for any pet lover. From the book Stray Muses…A portion of the proceeds of this poster and all the Stray Muses products is donated to the author's local Humane Society."

Doreen Erhardt wrote for her book info at blurb.com (http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/568094)
"My hope is that Stray Muses, A Language Unspoken will make a difference in the lives of the lost, unwanted and abused animals by giving them a voice, and that this book will make it to coffee tables, waiting rooms and bookstores around the world...reaching enough hearts so that every stray finds a loving home of their own. $5.00 from each book sale is donated to the A-PAL Humane Society of Amador County."
