Today I am sad because a rescue doggie Kahuna the Saint Bernard died in his sleep last night. It was on the east coast. He and his best friend Knuckles were almost at their adoptive home after traveling from Texas. Kahuna had Addison's disease. His owners had given up the two dogs. I blogged
his plea in February. Many good forces and good people came together to work out a great future for him and Knuckles in a new home. Tragically, it was not to be. It is a very sad thing to lose any pet, and Kahuna was a big deal. R.I.P. sweet boy. In thinking about Kahuna, I chose to post this key chain today from
