Snowdrop Mug from Zazzle

This mug features a Snowdrop. Wikipedia has some interesting facts about the Snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis). It is native to a large area of Europe from Spain in the west eastwards to the Ukraine. It contains something called galantamine (or galanthamine) which is supposedly helpful in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, though not a cure. And there are Snowdrop Garden Festivals. In the UK and Ireland, many gardens open especially in February for visitors to admire the flowers.
