| The 62nd Annual Flag Day Parade and Celebration will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2013. The parade will kick off at 7:00 p.m. from Coddington Street and works its way through a 1.5 mile route before culminating with a celebration and firework display at Pageant Field. All are encouraged to attend. By the way, The Quincy Animal Shelter is at 56 Broad Street, just a few minutes walk from the starting point of the parade (Quincy High School). The Quincy Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter with approximately 100 volunteers.
