Here is a card showing a moment in 1998. It has been fifty years since Astronaut John Glenn drove Friendship 7 solo around the Earth three times. John Glenn married his high school sweetheart and has been married seventy years. He was born in New Concord OH and left Muskingam College to become a Marine pilot after Pearl Harbor was bombed.
